Hotlinking is when a website owner displays an image on their own site by copying & pasting the image link from the site where it is originally hosted, instead of downloading the image to their own site before displaying it. Every time a page with a hotlinked image is loaded, a small amount of bandwidth is siphoned from the original site in order to display it. Neocities websites on a Supporter membership have a very high bandwidth limit, but it's not infinite, & this site's webmaster uses her Neocities account to host three different image-heavy websites! So, to ensure smooth sailing for Cute.gif & its users, please be considerate and make sure not to hotlink!
